Debbie De Louise

Debbie De Louise is a critically acclaimed and award-winning author of mystery and romance fiction. She holds a Bachelor's degree in English and a Master's degree in Library Science from Long Island University. In addition to her writing, Debbie works as a reference librarian at a public library on Long Island. She is an active member of various writer organizations, including the Long Island Author's Group, International Thriller Writers, Cat Writers Association, and Sisters in Crime.

Debbie's published works span different genres, from cozy mysteries and romance to thriller and time-travel novels. Her Cobble Cove cozy mystery series includes six books, along with several standalone mysteries, such as "Reason to Die" and "Sea Scope," which won second place in the Readers Favorite contest. She has also written a romantic comedy novella, "When Jack Trumps Ace," and a cat poetry book, "Meows and Purrs." Debbie's writing is inspired by her personal experiences and her love for animals, particularly cats.

Debbie's debut novel, "Cloudy Rainbow," was written in memory of her beloved cat, Floppy, and features him as a character. Her first Cobble Cove mystery, "A Stone's Throw," introduces readers to a widowed librarian who finds new love and uncovers shocking truths about her husband's death. Debbie's latest cozy mystery series, Buttercup Bend Mysteries, features Cathy Carter, a pet rescue owner and photographer in the Catskills.

In addition to her novels, Debbie has published articles in Cats Magazine and the Tufts University Veterinary Newsletter, as well as several short stories in various anthologies. She is a member of International Thriller Writers, Sisters in Crime, and the Cat Writer's Association. Debbie has won several awards for her writing, including the Glamour Puss special award from Hartz Corporation for her Catstercom article, "Brushing your cat for bonding, beauty, and better health."

Debbie currently resides on Long Island with her husband, daughter, and two cats. She is planning to move to South Carolina in the near future. With her love for writing, commitment to her craft, and dedication to her readers, Debbie De Louise is a talented author who has made a significant impact on the literary world.
