Debby Giusti is an accomplished American author, known for her inspirational romantic fiction novels. She has written numerous series, including the Military Investigators series and the Amish Protectors series. Giusti's writing is influenced by her life-long experience with the army, as her father's career required the family to move frequently during her childhood. This early exposure to the military community shaped her perspective and later became a significant theme in her work.
Giusti's writing journey began in Kirksville, Missouri, where she sold her first article on being an army wife for $25. Her enthusiasm for writing was further solidified when she sold her second article, "Sisterhood," to an Army magazine. The article chronicled the endurance of Army wives, the challenges of frequent moves, and the pain of separation. Despite her early success, Giusti's writing was put on hold as she devoted her time to volunteering during her family's next posting in Fort Polk. However, she returned to writing during her family's posting in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, where she had fewer opportunities to volunteer. Giusti's writing career took off as she published several articles in "Our Sunday Visitor," "Woman's World," and "Southern Lady."
In addition to her writing, Giusti is a medical technologist who enjoys working with test tubes and petri dishes. She met her husband, then an Army Captain, at Fort Knox, Kentucky, and together they had three children who also became army brats. They eventually settled in Atlanta, Georgia, where Giusti currently resides and writes her suspenseful novels that touch the heart and soul.
