Debra Webb

Debra Webb is a prolific American author, well-known for her romantic suspense novels. She has written over 150 novels, including the popular Colby Agency series and the Faces of Evil series. Webb was born and raised on a farm in Scottsboro, Alabama. Growing up, her parents taught her the value of hard work and impressed upon her the belief that she could be anything she wanted to be. This upbringing, coupled with her natural creativity, led Webb to begin writing stories at a young age.

Webb's passion for writing began when she was just nine years old, and she wrote her first romantic story at the age of thirteen. However, it wasn't until after she had spent several years working in Berlin behind the Iron Curtain and in NASA's Shuttle Program that she realized her true calling as a writer. Her experiences in these environments, no doubt, influenced her writing and helped her to develop the suspenseful and thrilling storylines that she is known for today.

Webb's work has been well-received by both critics and readers alike. She has won the Romantic Times Career Achievement Award for Romantic Suspense, as well as two RT Reviewers' Choice Awards. In 2012, she was honored as the first recipient of the L. A. Banks Warrior Woman Award for her courage, strength, and grace in the face of adversity. Most recently, she was awarded the distinguished Centennial Award for achieving the publication of her 100th novel.
