Denny S. Bryce

Denny S. Bryce is a best-selling and award-winning author of historical fiction. She has won the prestigious RWA Golden Heart award and has been a finalist three times, with two of those nominations being for her debut novel, Wild Women and the Blues. Bryce was born in Uhrichsville, Ohio, and considers Chicago her hometown, although she currently resides in Savannah, Georgia.

Before becoming an author, Bryce was a dancer and public relations professional. Currently, she is an adjunct professor in the MFA program at Drexel University, a book critic for NPR, and a freelance writer whose work has appeared in USA Today and Harper’s Bazaar. Bryce is also a member of the Historical Novel Society, Women’s Fiction Writers Association, and Tall Poppy Writers.

Nalini Akolekar, of Spencerhill Associates, represents Bryce. Besides writing novels, Bryce writes entertainment articles and book reviews for Frolic Media and NPR Books. Her writing is highly regarded, and she has built a reputation as a talented author in her genre.
