During her stay in the Isle of Man, Diana had two children and pursued higher education, earning a master's degree in Manx Studies. In 2008, the family moved back to the United States, settling in Buffalo, Western New York, where she currently resides. Despite the change in location, Diana continues to set her novels in the Isle of Man, where she lived for so long. Some of her notable works include "The Bennett Case" and "The Appleton Case," set in Derbyshire, the first town she lived in as a newlywed in the north of England.
