Diana Xarissa Dunn is a versatile author who writes under the names Diana Xarissa, Diana X. Dunn, and D.X. Dunn. She has written several series, including the Isle of Man Cozy Mysteries, Isle of Man Ghostly Cozy, Markham Sisters, and more. Her love for writing spans various genres, including crime, mystery, thriller, and romance. Diana's personal experiences and travels have significantly influenced her writing, having lived in several U.S. states, the north of England, and the Isle of Man.

Born and raised in the outskirts of Erie, Pennsylvania, Diana later moved to Washington D.C. It was there she met her future husband, an Englishman, who swept her off her feet and took her to England, where they lived for more than a decade. During her stay in the Isle of Man, Diana had two children and pursued higher education, earning a master's degree in Manx Studies. In 2008, the family moved back to the United States, settling in Buffalo, Western New York, where she currently resides. Despite the change in location, Diana continues to set her novels in the Isle of Man, where she lived for so long. Some of her notable works include "The Bennett Case" and "The Appleton Case," set in Derbyshire, the first town she lived in as a newlywed in the north of England.

Under the pen name Diana X, Diana X. Dunn writes thrilling mysteries set in a future world. She also writes middle-grade children's books as D.X. Dunn. Diana's love for reading various genres has inspired her to explore different writing styles and cater to diverse audiences. When she's not writing, Diana spends time volunteering at the local school, taking care of her children, and immersing herself in her reading hobby. Unfortunately, her family often bears the brunt of her writing passion, as she spends "way too much time listening to the voices in her head and not nearly enough time dusting, ironing or cooking healthy and delicious meals!" Diana X. Dunn's diverse writing portfolio, inspired by her life experiences, continues to captivate readers worldwide.
