Diane Alberts is a successful author who writes under two names, each representing a different genre. As Diane Alberts, she is a bestselling Contemporary Romance author with Entangled Publishing. Under the name Jen McLaughlin, she writes New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal bestselling books, which are published by Penguin Random House. She has also written three books for James Patterson/Hachette.
Diane's journey to becoming a published author began in 2011, and since then, she has yet to stop writing. She is represented by Louise Fury at The Bent Agency and has received recognition in Forbes alongside E.L. James as one of the breakout independent authors to dominate the bestselling lists. Diane's writing is not limited to one genre, and she has proven her versatility by writing in various genres under different names.
In addition to her writing career, Diane is also a college professor and works as an assistant in the Honors Program. She teaches Creative Writing at the university level and is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Education. Diane's personal life is as busy as her professional one, and she lives in Northeast Pennsylvania with her husband, four kids, a schnauzer mutt, and three cats. Her goal is to write so many fantastic stories that even a non-romance reader will know her name.
