Donato Carrisi is a renowned Italian mystery author, best known for his "Mila Vasquez" series of novels. He was born in Martina Franca, Italy, and spent his formative years there before moving to Milan and Rome. Carrisi's academic background is in law, but he developed a keen interest in behavioral science and criminology, which would later influence his writing.
