Donna Boyd

Donna Boyd, who was born in 1951 in Georgia, USA, is a renowned author of romance, fantasy, science fiction, mystery, and thriller novels. She is best known for the "Devocroix Dynasty" series, which includes the popular novel "The Passion," which she published in 1998. The series now has at least three titles, and like most of her other works of fiction, these novels have become widely popular around the world.

Writing under the pseudonyms Rebecca Flanders, Donna Carlisle, Shannon Harper as Leigh Bristol, Taylor Brady, and Donna A. Ball, Boyd has written over a dozen works of commercial fiction that have been translated into well over a dozen languages and published in virtually every country in the world. She has received numerous awards for her writing, including the Storytelling World award in 2001, the Georgia Author of the Year Award in 2000, Romantic Times Reviewer's Choice Awards for consecutive years 1991-1996, the Georgia Romance Writer's Maggie Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award from Romantic Times.

In addition to her writing, Boyd is an oil painter, enjoys hiking, and is involved in dog obedience training. She currently resides in a restored turn-of-the-century barn in the Blue Ridge Mountains in northeast Georgia, where she is now working on her next novel.
