Donna VanLiere is a multi-talented author, a passionate teacher, and a loving wife and mother. She is well-known for her comedic personality at home, where she enjoys cooking, eating, reading, and watching movies. Although she is not a fan of watching sports on television, she is a huge supporter of her children who are athletes. Donna is also an animal lover and has a soft spot for small athletes who call her "Mom."
As a best-selling author, Donna has written fourteen books, including four that have been adapted into movies. Her works have earned her numerous awards and recognitions, including multiple industry awards such as a Retailer's Choice Award for Fiction, a Dove Award, a Silver Angel Award, and two Audie Awards for best inspirational fiction. Donna has also been a nominee for a Gold Medallion Book of the Year and is an inductee in the Ohio Foundation of Independent Colleges Hall of Excellence. In addition to her writing, Donna serves on the board of directors for National House of Hope, a residency program that helps abused and at-risk teens.
