Flo Fitzpatrick was born in Washington D.C. and quickly became a world traveler while still an infant, living in various states and even in a castle in France due to her father's career in the Army. Her first foray into literature was at the age of four, with a science fiction piece called "The Bug on the Wall," which consisted of just two sentences. At the age of eight, she wrote three chapters of a novel titled "The Skinner Family Goes to Ireland," which featured the Skinner family traveling by train from New York to Ireland to visit their Aunt Donna.
Flo earned a B.F.A. in Dance and an M.A. in Theatre and spent her years after college traveling back and forth between New York and Texas, working as a dancer, singer, actress, teacher, and choreographer. During her career in theatre, Flo has played a variety of roles, ranging from nice ladies to not-so-nice ladies, singing ladies, dancing ladies, and even dead ladies. She has also played a variety of characters for the Japanese language show NY-Go! which aired on Manhattan cable stations. Flo's second novel with Kensington, "Hot Stuff," received a Four and a Half Star Gold review from RT Reviews and was nominated for Best Romantic Suspense of 2005. She has since had five mysteries and two romances published. Flo currently resides in Alabama and continues to perform with The Usual Suspects.
