Fonda Lee

Fonda Lee is a highly acclaimed author in the science fiction genre. She is best known for her Green Bone Saga series, which includes the books Jade City, Jade War, and Jade Legacy. Jade City, the first book in the series, won the prestigious World Fantasy Award for Best Novel in 2018.

In addition to the Green Bone Saga, Fonda Lee has also written several standalone science fiction novels, including Zeroboxer, Exo, and Cross Fire. She has also written comics for Marvel and has received numerous accolades for her work. Fonda Lee is a three-time winner of the Aurora Award, which is Canada's national science fiction and fantasy award. She has also been a finalist for the Nebula Award, the Locus Award, and the Oregon Book Award. Her novels have been included on numerous state reading lists, named Junior Library Guild selections, and have appeared on Best of Year lists from NPR, Barnes & Noble, Syfy Wire, and others.

Fonda Lee has a diverse background that has influenced her writing. She was born and raised in Canada and has a black belt in martial arts. Prior to becoming an author, she worked as a corporate strategist. Her love for action movies and Eggs Benedict reflects her fun-loving personality. She currently resides in Portland, Oregon.
