Franck Thilliez

Franck Thilliez is a renowned author of thriller novels, hailing from France. Before establishing himself as a writer, Thilliez spent a decade working as a computer engineer. His passion for writing and reading, however, remained constant even during his corporate career. Thilliez had already started writing manuscripts while still working in the technology sector.

Thilliez was born in Annecy in 1973 and currently resides in Pas de Calais. His debut novel, "Train d'enfer pour Ange rouge," was published in 2003, becoming an instant bestseller. The novel, along with "Obsession" and "Ligna des morts," has been adapted into highly successful films. Thilliez has gained popularity for his thrilling stories set in harsh environments, combining his engineering training with his love for thrillers to create intriguing narratives.

"Syndrome E" was the first of Thilliez's novels to be translated into English in 2012, followed by "Bred to Kill" in 2015. Several of his books have been turned into movies, including "La chambre des morts" in 2007, "Ligne de mire" in 2014, and "Obsession(s)" in 2009.
