GTH Carr is a bestselling author, known for her inspirational fiction. She was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. From a young age, Carr had a thirst for reading, which opened her mind to the many possibilities out there. She consumed books like she needed them to survive, and it was inevitable that her love for reading would transform into a desire to come up with her own stories. At ten years old, she began writing stories and poetry, and by the time she was a teenager, she was deep into romance novels.
Carr made her debut as a novelist with the writing of "Freedom of Love" in 2013. However, it was her novel "The Cost of Hope" that brought her widespread recognition. The novel was the 2nd place winner in the 2018 Romance Writers of America HHRW Chapter's Romance Through the Ages Contest. Carr can normally be found locked away with a good book in her home in Charlotte, NC, or traveling the globe to places like India, Bali, Tokyo, or London. She is passionate about sharing the many interesting stories in her head and has never looked back since her foray into the world of romance novels.
