Gail Schimmel is a South African author and attorney who has published multiple novels across genres, blending her legal expertise with her passion for storytelling. She debuted in children's literature with "Claude & Millie" (2007) under her married name, Gail van Onselen, before transitioning to adult fiction with "Marriage Vows" (2008). Her subsequent works include "Whatever Happened to the Cowley Twins?" (2013), "The Park" (2017), and "The Accident" (2019), the latter released internationally as "The Aftermath" (2021). Her novel "Two Month" was published in 2020, and she co-writes under the pseudonym Katie Gayle. Her latest thriller, "Never Tell A Lie," became available internationally in November 2021.
