Gary Grossman is an accomplished American author, journalist, and television producer. He is best known for his political and geological thriller novels, particularly the Scott Roarke series which includes "EXECUTIVE ACTIONS," "EXECUTIVE TREASON," and "EXECUTIVE COMMAND."
Born in Hudson, New York, Grossman began his broadcasting career as a rock disc jockey at his local radio station, WHUC, at the age of 15. He later attended Emerson College in Boston where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communications. He furthered his education at Boston University, earning a Master's Degree in Urban Affairs.
Grossman has had a successful career in journalism and television production, having worked for notable networks such as NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox, and PBS. He has produced over 10,000 series episodes and specials, earning numerous awards including several Emmy nominations and wins. He is a partner with Robb Weller in Weller/Grossman Productions, a prolific documentary and service and information television production company.
In addition to his work in television, Grossman is an established author with a diverse range of published works. This includes his critically acclaimed "geological thriller," OLD EARTH, and his bestselling political thrillers EXECUTIVE ACTIONS, EXECUTIVE TREASON, and EXECUTIVE COMMAND. He has also written non-fiction books covering pop culture and television history, such as "Superman: Serial to Cereal" and "Saturday Morning TV."
Grossman is a respected figure in the literary and media industries, serving on the Emerson College Board of Trustees and the Boston University Metropolitan Advisory Board. He is also a member of the International Thriller Writers Association. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife and their children.
