Georgiana Bockoven is a distinguished American author, best known for her heartwarming contemporary romance and fiction novels. She has gained a reputation for her popular series, such as the Love Songs series and the Beach House series. The latter is particularly well-regarded, having established Bockoven as a top writer of romance stories.
Before turning to fiction, Bockoven had a successful career in journalism as a freelance photojournalist. However, her interests began to shift towards fiction after developing a passion for reading and creating her own stories. It wasn't long before Bockoven started writing fiction, publishing her first book in 1983.
As an Army child, Bockoven had a peripatetic childhood, which likely contributed to her ability to weave engaging stories that resonate with readers. Her novels have sold more than four million copies worldwide, and one of her romance novels, A Marriage of Convenience, was adapted into a CBS movie in 1998, starring Jane Seymour and James Brolin.
Currently, Bockoven is married to John Bockoven and is the mother of two. The family resides in Northern California, where Bockoven took a break from writing to spend more time with her husband after his retirement from the fire department. Together, they started a nature photography business that has proven to be both challenging and creatively fulfilling.
