Gina Wilkins

Gina Ferris Wilkins is a successful American author, well-known for her contemporary romance novels. She was born and raised in Central Arkansas, where she currently resides. Wilkins earned her journalism degree from Arkansas State University before embarking on a career in advertising and audio-visual production. Her love for writing led her to sell her first novel in 1986, and she has been a full-time writer ever since.

Wilkins has written over 85 romance novels under various pen names, including Gina Wilkins, Gina Ferris, and Gina Ferris Vaughan. She has won the Maggie Award four times and has been nominated for the Lifetime Achievement Award from Romantic Times Magazine. Wilkins' writing career has been marked by numerous bestselling and successful novel series, with many of her books translated into more than 20 languages and appearing in over a hundred countries. She has won several awards from the reviewers of Romantic Times magazine, including the Reviewers' Choice Award in 2003 for her novel "Make-Believe Mistletoe."

In addition to her writing accomplishments, Wilkins is a dedicated wife and mother. She married John Wilkins in 1972, and they have three children together. She earned a degree in journalism from the Arkansas State University and worked in human resources and advertising before turning to writing. Wilkins is a frequent speaker at writers' conferences, civic organizations, and in middle and senior high schools, where she focuses on literacy and goal-setting. She is a member of Romance Writers of America, Diamond State Romance Authors, and Novelists, Inc., and is a past president of Fiction Writers of Central Arkansas.
