Ginny Aiken is a bestselling author who was born in Havana, Cuba and raised in Venezuela. She now resides in Pennsylvania with her husband and three of their younger sons, the oldest of whom is married and has children of his own. Aiken has had a diverse work history, including jobs as a newspaper reporter, paralegal, choreographer, language teacher, retail salesperson, wife, and mother of four boys. She also spent time as a herder for the Crossmen and Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps. Despite this long list of professions, Aiken's true passion has always been writing. She penned her first novel at the age of fifteen, though she later burned the manuscript. It wasn't until many years later, after holding a variety of other jobs, that Aiken returned to writing as a way to maintain her sanity.
In addition to her work as an author, Aiken is also a dedicated minister to women at her church and on the mission field. When she is not writing or ministering, Aiken enjoys the company of her Cairn Terrier co-author and the many strong-willed characters that she brings to life on the page. Aiken is the author of twenty-seven published works, and while she has not yet achieved the elusive goal of sanity, she continues to write and inspire others with her words. Aiken's unique background, diverse work history, and deep commitment to her faith and family have all contributed to her success as an author and a minister.
