Glynis Peters

Glynis Peters is a successful historical fiction author, best known for her bestselling novel "The Secret Orphan." She hails from Essex, in the United Kingdom, and has been married to her high school sweetheart for over four decades. Together, they have three children. Peters' love for writing began while she was practicing as a nurse and living in Cyprus. By the time she returned to the UK in 2013, she had already written five novels. In 2014, she was shortlisted for the New Talent Award by the Festival of Romantic Fiction. Peters is a hybrid author, having self-published for more than a decade before signing a publishing contract with HarperCollins.

Peters specializes in writing historical novels set in WWII Britain and has achieved significant success as an author.
