Grace Burrowes

Grace Burrowes is an acclaimed American author, best known for her contemporary and historical romance novels. She has written several series, including the Windham Sisters and the Lonely Lords series. Burrowes turned to writing as a way to cope with an empty nest, and it quickly became her antidote to life's challenges.

Raised in rural Pennsylvania as the second youngest of seven children, Burrowes spent much of her childhood reading and playing the piano. Her first career was as a technical writer and editor in the Washington, D.C. area, a job that allowed her to pursue a law degree, start a family, and read a plethora of romance novels. After opening her own law practice and earning a Master's in Conflict Transformation, Burrowes decided to try her hand at writing romance novels.
