Gregg Loomis

Gregg Loomis is an accomplished American author, best known for his thriller novels. Born in Atlanta, Georgia, Loomis spent his early years traveling the world, an experience that would later inspire many of his written works. His diverse background includes working as a commercial pilot, a racecar driver, and a lawyer specializing in commercial litigation. Despite his many professional accomplishments, Loomis remains dedicated to his craft and continues to practice law in his hometown of Atlanta, Georgia.

Loomis's writing career began in 1991 with the publication of his first novel, Voodoo Fury, a thrilling bayou adventure. His greatest success, however, came in 2005 with the introduction of the character Lang Reilly in The Pegasus Secret. Loomis went on to write six more novels featuring Reilly, including The Coptic Secret (2009) and The Cathar Secret (2011). In addition to the Lang Reilly series, Loomis began a new series in 2007 centered around Jason Peters, an international operative working for NARCOM, a private corporation that undertakes missions that the CIA cannot. The first novel in this series, The Gates of Hades, was followed by Hot Ice in 2013. Loomis's works have been translated into several languages, with foreign publishing rights sold to publishers in Holland, Russia, Turkey, and the Czech Republic.
