Gregory Harris

Gregory Harris is an American writer, born and raised outside of Chicago, who is best known for his series of fictional detective novels, the Colin Pendragon Mystery. Harris developed a love for storytelling at a young age, with encouragement from his sister and cousin who also had fertile imaginations. He attended the University of Southern California after moving to Los Angeles and began his post-collegiate career in several talent agencies before moving into television and motion picture production.

Harris worked on notable productions such as the ABC television series Moonlighting, several motion pictures including Clean and Sober, Love Affair and Picture Perfect, and CBS Television series such as Touched by an Angel, Chicago Hope, Now and Again and Promised Land. After working in the entertainment industry for twenty years, Harris decided to pursue a career in writing and switched to the financial services industry to give himself the freedom to do so. He wrote a series of short stories, tried his hand at both fiction and non-fiction, and eventually turned his attention to novel writing, specifically historical mysteries featuring Colin Pendragon and Ethan Pruitt. His writing became a focus for him during challenging times in the financial services industry. Harris still resides in Southern California, where he indulges in his passions for motorcycle riding and travel, particularly exploring the fog-shrouded byways of London, once traversed by his fictional characters Colin and Ethan.
