Gwendolyn Womack is a USA Today and Los Angeles Times bestselling author known for her genre-blending novels that weave elements of romance, thriller, and speculative fiction. Her works include "The Fortune Teller," "The Memory Painter," "The Time Collector," and the young adult thriller "The Premonitions Club." Her upcoming novel, "The Last Labyrinth," a science fiction romantic adventure, is slated for release in March 2026 with 47North.
Womack holds an MFA in Directing for theatre and film from California Institute of the Arts and began her academic journey studying theatre in Fairbanks, Alaska. Her background in the arts informs her vivid storytelling and cinematic narrative style. She explores themes of destiny, memory, and the interconnectedness of lives across time in her novels.
Based in Houston, Texas, Womack serves as an adjunct faculty member at HCC. An avid collector and photographer of kaleidoscopes, she draws inspiration from their intricate patterns and shifting perspectives. When not teaching or writing, she immerses herself in books or crafts new stories.
