Hazel Prior

Hazel Prior is a talented author and harpist, hailing from Oxford, England. Born to a father from Sussex and a mother from Yorkshire, Prior has a diverse English background. She has a fondness for the Celtic harp, which she believes may be due to her Scottish ancestry. Prior is perhaps best known for her debut novel, "How the Penguins Saved Veronica," which became a number one bestseller in the UK under the title "Away with the Penguins."

In addition to her writing, Prior is an accomplished harpist. She works as a freelance harpist, bringing her love and skill for the instrument to various events and performances. Prior's musical talents often find their way into her writing, adding a unique and captivating element to her stories.

Prior has written several novels, including "Ellie and the Harp-Maker" and "Call of the Penguins," which continues the adventures of Veronica from "How the Penguins Saved Veronica." Her latest book, "Life and Otter Miracles," is set to be released in the UK this September and is available for pre-order. Prior currently resides on Exmoor, England with her husband and a large ginger cat.
