Heather Fawcett is a Canadian author, best known for her young adult fantasy novels. She has written the Even the Darkest Stars series, as well as other books for adults and children such as Emily Wilde's Encyclopaedia of Faeries, Ember and the Ice Dragons, and The School Between Winter and Fairyland. Before becoming a novelist, Fawcett worked in a variety of fields including archaeology, technical writing, and as a backstage assistant for a Shakespearean theatre company.
