Henry Turner is an American author, renowned for his Young Adult mystery novels. He was born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland, in a historic neighborhood called Roland Park. From a young age, Henry had a keen interest in storytelling, which led him to start making films with his brother and neighborhood friends during his teenage years. His filmmaking skills quickly gained popularity, with some of his films even winning awards and nominations. This success prompted him to move to Los Angeles, where he continued to write and produce films.
In Los Angeles, Henry worked as a film festival executive and wrote freelance journalism, interviewing well-known filmmakers such as George Lucas, Brian Grazer, Quentin Tarantino, and James Cameron. Throughout this time, he remained committed to his passion for storytelling and continued to write. During a year spent in Greece, Henry made a conscious decision to focus solely on writing fiction. Upon his return to Los Angeles, he studied fiction writing with the novelist John Rechy and Hubert Selby. Henry and his wife have a son named Hugo.
