Howard Linskey is a renowned author from the United Kingdom, known for his works in crime fiction and historical fiction. He is the author of the David Blake series and the DC Ian Bradshaw series, which also features journalists Helen Norton and Tom Carney. Linskey was born on May 16, 1967, and has also published works under the name H.A. Linskey.
Linskey's latest book, 'Alice Teale Is Missing', features detectives Beth Winter and Lucas Black, who work together to investigate the disappearance of seventeen-year-old Alice. In addition to his crime fiction novels, Linskey has also written two historical novels set in World War II. 'Hunting the Hangman' tells the true story of the assassination of Nazi General Reinhard Heydrich, while 'Ungentlemanly Warfare' features SOE agents Harry Walsh, Emma Stirling, and OSS agent Sam Cooper. These novels are published in the UK by No Exit and are set to be released in the US by Kensington Books.
Prior to becoming a full-time author, Linskey held a variety of jobs, including barman, journalist, catering manager, marketing manager for a celebrity chef, and account management roles. He started writing many years ago and was first published in the Newcastle United football fanzine, 'The Mag'. He later became a journalist and wrote for regional newspapers, magazines, and websites. Linskey is currently settled in Hertfordshire with his wife and daughter and is represented by Phil Patterson at Marjacq, who handles his literary agent duties, and Sandra Sawicka, who manages his foreign rights.
