Hugh Howey

Hugh Howey is a successful American author, best known for his science fiction novels. He is the writer of the Wool/Silo series as well as the Molly Fyde/Bern Saga series. Howey's works have been translated into over 40 languages, and he has sold millions of copies around the world. Two of his most popular series, Wool and Beacon 23, have been adapted into television shows for AppleTVPlus and AMC, respectively.

Howey was born in 1975 and grew up in Monroe, North Carolina. He developed a love for ships and reading at a young age, spending his summers at the family beach house in North Carolina.
