Ingrid Persaud is a highly acclaimed author, originally from Trinidad and Tobago. She studied law at the London School of Economics and also pursued fine art studies at Goldsmith College and Central St. Martins. Before becoming a novelist, Persaud taught law at King's College, London, and worked as a visual artist and project manager. She now spends her time equally between London, England, and Barbados.
