Isabella Alan is the pseudonym of Amanda Flower, an accomplished author of cozy mystery novels. Born on January 23, 1980, in Akron, Ohio, Flower discovered her passion for writing at a young age. In elementary school, she wrote a story about being stuck on a Ferris wheel and entertained her classmates with her descriptive words. This experience made her realize that she wanted to spend the rest of her life making people laugh with her writing.

Amanda Flower has received numerous awards for her work. In 2010, she was nominated for the Agatha Award for Best First Novel.
