ISOELLEN is a paranormal romance novelist who leads a life that is quite ordinary, despite the extraordinary nature of her writing. She often refers to herself as an aging and average child care worker who has an exceptional love for coffee. ISOELLEN's interest in writing took flight when she was just eight years old, after watching the movie Star Wars. It was then that she wrote her first romance story, which featured a rogue on the wrong side of the law, rather than the typical hero.

As a Gen-Xer, ISOELLEN has a unique perspective that she brings to life in her writing. Her stories are set in violent and sensual worlds, but she manages to find beauty in the decay and romance in intimacy. Her characters always find true love and experience happily ever afters. Currently, ISOELLEN is working on the fourth book in the 12 Sectors Series, titled Redeeming Her Alpha.

ISOELLEN's writing is influenced by a diverse group of authors, including Charlotte Brontë, Rudyard Kipling, Anne McCaffery, C.L. Wilson, Anne Bishop, Kathleen E. Woodiwiss, and Tad Williams. She is a Pacific Northwest resident and enjoys spending her time searching the shelves of Powell's City of Books for both new and old treasures. Her love for coffee is well-known, and she often indulges in this habit while creating her romantic love stories set in s'mex drenched, ruined worlds.
