Isuna Hasekura

支倉凍砂 (Isuna Hasekura) is a Japanese author best known for his light novel series "Spice and Wolf," which earned him the Silver Prize in the twelfth Dengeki Novel Prize in 2005. The series, first published in 2006, follows the travels of a merchant and a wolf deity in a medieval European-inspired setting, blending economics, fantasy, and adventure. Its success spawned multiple sequels, manga adaptations, and an anime series, establishing Hasekura as a prominent figure in light novel literature.

Born on December 27, 1982, Hasekura was a student at Rikkyo University when he began his writing career.
