J.L. Witterick

J.L. Witterick is a literary fiction author of Chinese origin, who is best known for her debut novel "My Mother's Secret." She was born in China and moved to Canada with her parents in 1968 when she was seven years old. Despite her love for writing from a young age, Witterick pursued a more traditional career due to her background as the daughter of immigrants. She attended the University of Western Ontario Richard Ivey School of Business and graduated with a business degree.

Witterick's debut novel, "My Mother's Secret," was an international best-seller and has been translated into ten languages. Her books are used in schools around the world to teach courage, tolerance, and understanding.
