Jack Carnegie

Jack Carnegie is a Liverpool-born author whose passion for storytelling emerged in childhood, when he began crafting tales in school notebooks. His early creative pursuits extended to music, where he co-founded bands such as "Tested and Approved" and "Gripweed," honing his skills through songwriting. Though his musical ambitions shifted, his dedication to writing endured, culminating in his debut novel, "The Blink of an Eye," penned during his years as a taxi driver. This marked the beginning of his literary career, which now includes historical fiction works such as "The Auschwitz Protocol" and its sequel, "The Architect," inspired by a visit to Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Carnegie's writing often explores themes of historical significance, particularly through the lens of the George family saga set in Sweet Water, Alabama. His novels "Into the Blue" and "The Way Home" further expand this narrative, delving into personal and societal challenges across pivotal moments in history, from the nuclear age to the Vietnam War. His works reflect a commitment to honoring the past while crafting compelling, character-driven stories. Carnegie continues to reside in Liverpool, where he remains dedicated to his craft, striving to transition into full-time authorship with a focus on historical fiction.
