Jack is a British horror writer born in Portsmouth in 1989. His literary career began in 2021 after a nightmare inspired his debut short story, "The Cat’s Meat Man," which was published in a horror anthology. By the end of that summer, he had written ten short stories, a novelette, and three poems, later compiled into his first collection, "Ripper Country," released by Blood Rites Publishing in January 2022. His subsequent self-published works, including "React" and "Driving in the Dark," garnered positive reviews, followed by his second collection, "Dark Lines," published by DarkLit Press in spring 2022.
Jack’s work has appeared in several horror anthologies, including "Dead of Night" and "Terror in the Trench," as well as flash fiction collections such as "Slice of Paradise" and "206 Word Stories." His third collection, "Warning Signs," is scheduled for release in autumn 2022. Drawing inspiration from authors like Ray Bradbury, Stephen King, and Richard Matheson, Jack’s writing explores dark, unsettling themes with a distinctive narrative style. His rapid rise in the horror genre showcases his ability to craft compelling, chilling tales that resonate with readers.
