James McCrone is a distinguished author from the United States, recognized for his exceptional work in the thriller, mystery, suspense, and crime fiction genres. He is particularly celebrated for his Imogen Trager series of political-suspense-thriller novels, which includes two books so far: Dark Network and Faithless Elector. These novels revolve around the clandestine threats to America's presidency and the efforts of the main characters to overcome these challenges and safeguard the office.
McCrone's Imogen Trager series features Imogen Trager as the lead character, who works as an agent for the FBI. McCrone is a Pacific Northwest native who now resides in South Philadelphia with his wife and three children. He holds an MFA from the University of Washington in Seattle.
