James Paul Czajkowski, who is known by his pen names James Rollins and James Clemens, is a successful American author. He was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 20, 1961 and later moved to Ballwin, Missouri where he graduated from Parkway West Senior High in 1979. Czajkowski went on to attend the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri, where he received his Doctorate in veterinary medicine in 1985.
As James Rollins, Czajkowski is a #1 New York Times bestselling author of action-adventure and thriller novels. His writing has been translated into over forty languages and has sold more than 20 million books worldwide. The New York Times has praised Rollins, saying that his work is what you would get if you combined Michael Crichton and Dan Brown in a particle accelerator. NPR has described his novels as adventurous and enormously engrossing. Before becoming a full-time author, Rollins practiced veterinary medicine in Sacramento, California for over a decade.
