James Siegel

James Siegel is a renowned American author, best known for his thriller novels. Before finding success as an author, Siegel worked in the advertising industry, writing Super Bowl commercials and later political advertisements, a work he continues to do.

Siegel was born in the United States and completed his university studies from the City University of New York in 1977 with a B.A. He spent many years working as an advertising executive in New York City, where he wrote credits for the famous "Yo, Yao" advertisement that aired during the Super Bowl XXXVII. He later served as the chairman for the BBDO New York. In 2006, Siegel retired from commercial advertising and shifted his focus to political advertising. He has since been responsible for many political adverts, including those for the Eliot Spitzer campaign in New York in 2006 and the Hillary Clinton presidential campaign in 2008. Siegel continues to work in politics to this day.

One of Siegel's most notable achievements is the adaptation of his novel "Derailed" into a film starring Clive Owen and Jennifer Aniston. The book's success, along with his other works, has solidified Siegel's reputation as a master of the thriller genre.
