Jamie Langston Turner

Jamie Langston Turner is an award-winning author known for her Southern-inspired fiction. She has published nine novels, including her debut "Suncatchers" and the Christy Award-winning works "Some Wildflower in My Heart" and "Winter Birds." Her other notable titles include "By the Light of a Thousand Stars," "A Garden to Keep," and her most recent novel, "Every Ocean Has a Shore," published in 2023. Turner's works span inspirational and contemporary fiction, often set in her native South Carolina.

Born in Mississippi, Turner spent her career as an educator while maintaining her writing practice. She taught poetry and creative writing at Bob Jones University for over four decades before retiring in 2016. Turner's literary achievements include two Christy Awards and a Christianity Today Book Award of Merit.
