Jamie Mason is a Canadian author recognized for his dark science fiction and fantasy works, often infused with absurdist themes and a fatalistic worldview. Born in Montreal, Mason pursued higher education at the University of Arizona and Chapman University. Following a decade of teaching in the American southwest, he returned to Canada in 2005. Currently semi-retired, he now devotes his time to writing, immersing himself in nature, and savoring the enchanting landscapes of Vancouver Island.
