Janine K. Spendlove is a retired United States Marine Corps KC-130 pilot and an accomplished author in the science fiction and fantasy genres. She is best known for her bestselling trilogy "War of the Seasons" and her work in the "Star Wars: Inbrief" series. Her short fiction has appeared in numerous speculative fiction anthologies, including "Time Traveled Tales," "Athena’s Daughters," and "War Stories," showcasing her versatility across multiple subgenres.
A graduate of Johns Hopkins University's School of International Studies and Brigham Young University, Spendlove brings a unique perspective to her writing, informed by her military service and academic background. She is an active member of professional organizations such as the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers Association, Women in Aerospace, and BroadUniverse. Residing in Northern Virginia with her family, Spendlove balances her writing career with personal interests that include playing guitar, sewing, and caring for her pugs. She is currently working on her next novel.
