Jasmin Kaur

Jasmin Kaur is a Vancouver-based writer, illustrator, and spoken word artist whose work explores themes of feminism, social empowerment, love, and survival. Her writing serves as both a creative outlet and a tool for healing, often reclaiming identity through poetic expression. She gained recognition for her debut poetry collection, "When You Ask Me Where I'm Going," which intertwines verse, prose, and illustrations to tell interconnected stories of migration, womanhood, and resilience.

Beyond her literary career, Kaur is an arts facilitator and educator, having taught fourth grade while leading creative writing workshops across North America, the UK, and Australia. Her workshops empower young people to find their voices through storytelling and poetry.
