Jason Vuic

Jason Vuic is an award-winning writer and historian specializing in modern American and Balkan history. He is the author of several critically acclaimed books, including "The Swamp Peddlers: How Lot Sellers, Land Scammers, and Retirees Built Modern Florida and Transformed the American Dream," "The Yucks! Two Years in Tampa with the Losingest Team in NFL History," and "The Yugo: The Rise and Fall of the Worst Car in History." His works explore themes of ambition, failure, and cultural transformation, often through unconventional historical lenses.

A graduate of Wake Forest University, Vuic holds advanced degrees in history from the University of Richmond and Indiana University Bloomington. His expertise extends to the former Yugoslavia, where he conducted research as a Rotary Ambassadorial Scholar at the University of Novi Sad, Serbia.
