Jean Meltzer

Jean Meltzer is a bestselling romance fiction author who has had an interesting journey in her career. She describes herself as the world's only chronically disabled and ill, rabbinical school dropout, and Emmy award-winning author. Meltzer has a unique perspective that she brings to her writing, having studied dramatic writing at NYU Tisch and earning numerous awards for her work in television, including a daytime Emmy.

Meltzer's life took a turn when she was forced to withdraw from rabbinical school due to her chronic illness. It was during this time that her father suggested she write a book, but not a Jewish one, as he believed that no one reads those. However, Meltzer's Jewish background has played a significant role in her writing, with her first novel, The Matzah Ball, combining her love for Jewish traditions, humor, and family.

Meltzer's debut novel was a success, and she has since released a second book, Mr. Perfect on Paper. She is set to release her third book, Kissing Kosher, on August 29th, 2023. Despite her health challenges, Meltzer has built a successful career as a romance fiction author and has a dedicated following of readers who appreciate her unique storytelling and perspective.
