Jeanne C. Stein is a bestselling American author, well-known for her urban fantasy novels. She has written the "Anna Strong Chronicles" series, which includes both novels and short stories, as well as co-writing "The Fallen Siren" series with Samantha Sommersby under the name S. J. Harper. Stein was raised and educated in San Diego, which serves as the setting for her contemporary vampire fantasy series.
