Jefferson Bass is a renowned writing team that consists of Jon Jefferson and Dr. Bill Bass. While "Jefferson Bass" is the pen name used by the duo, Jon Jefferson is a writer and documentary filmmaker, and Dr. Bill Bass is a globally recognized forensic anthropologist. The two started working together on a non-fiction book called "Death's Acre," which was a huge success, prompting them to collaborate on a crime fiction series involving real-life forensics.
Together, Jefferson and Bass have co-authored several novels, including "Carved in Bone," "Flesh and Bone," "The Devil's Bones," and "Beyond the Body Farm," among others. Their debut novel, "Carved in Bone," reached number 25 on The New York Times Best Seller list. Of the six Body Farm novels already in print, five have been New York Times bestsellers.
