Jeffrey Wilson is an award-winning author, best known for his supernatural thrillers. Hailing from Florida, Wilson has led an incredibly diverse life, having worked in a wide range of professions before becoming an accomplished writer. His past careers include acting, firefighting, paramedic services, jet piloting, diving instruction, naval officer duties, and vascular and trauma surgery. In addition to this, he also has experience as a consultant for the Department of Defense.
Wilson's background includes extensive military service, with numerous tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He served as a combat surgeon with both a joint Special Operations Task Force and the Marines, while being deployed with an east coast-based SEAL Team. This experience has significantly influenced his writing, particularly in the TIER ONE series of thrillers, which he co-authors with Brian Andrews. This series, published by Thomas & Mercer, includes TIER ONE, WAR SHADOWS, CRUSADER ONE, and AMERICAN OPERATOR. The duo also co-authors the Nick Foley Thriller Series under the pseudonym Alex Ryan.
In addition to his military-themed thrillers, Wilson has written three supernatural thrillers for JournalStone Publishing: THE TRAITEUR'S RING (2011), THE DONORS (2012), and FADE TO BLACK (2013). He has also penned a faith-based, inspirational war-time novel titled WAR TORN. Wilson, a Virginia native, currently resides in Tampa, Florida, with his wife Wendy and their four children – Ashley, Emma, Jack, and Connor. He continues to work as a vascular surgeon and a consultant for the Department of Defense while writing his next book.
