Jenn Lyons is a highly accomplished American author, best known for her work in the fantasy genre. She is the mastermind behind the A Chorus of Dragons series, which began in 2019 with the critically acclaimed novel, The Ruin of Kings. This book was recognized as a Kirkus Best of Science Fiction and Fantasy pick for 2019 and a Library Journal Best Book of 2019.
In addition to the A Chorus of Dragons series, Lyons has also penned the Blood Chimera series and the War in Heaven series, all of which are duologies. Her creative talents are not confined to just these series, as she has also written several standalone novels and short stories. Prior to her career as an author, Lyons worked as an illustrator and graphic artist for two decades, honing her creative skills in various fields.
Lyons has also spent over a decade working in the video game industry, where she has contributed to the development of popular games such as Lord of the Rings: Conquest and The Saboteur. She was employed by EA Games for the majority of her video game developing career.

Throughout her life, she has entertained various career aspirations, including archaeologist, anthropologist, architect, diamond cutter, fashion illustrator, graphic designer, and even Batman. However, she eventually settled on a career as a video game producer by day and a dedicated writer of science fiction and fantasy during her evenings. When not writing, Lyons can be found at local coffee shops, where she enjoys debating the merits of the Oxford comma and the works of Joss Whedon.
