Jennifer Beckstrand

Jennifer Beckstrand is a bestselling American author, well-known for her Amish romance novels. She has written numerous successful novels and series in the Christian and Romance genres. Beckstrand grew up with a love for literature, inspired by the works of authors like William Shakespeare, Orson Scott Card, and Jane Austen. However, it wasn't until after the birth of her fourth child that she began writing professionally, having been an avid reader and aspiring writer prior. Despite the challenges of raising six children, she managed to complete her first manuscript after 14 years.

Beckstrand is particularly fascinated by the Amish culture and their way of living. This fascination led her to begin writing inspirational romance novels featuring the Amish community. She has penned several series in this genre, including The Matchmakers of Huckleberry Hill series, The Honeybee Sisters series, The Petersheim Brothers series, and The Amish Quiltmaker series. Two of her books have been nominated for the RITA® Award from Romance Writers of America, and she is a #1 Amazon bestselling author. In addition to her Amish romances, Beckstrand has also written Western historical and contemporary romances under the name Jen Spencer.
