Jennifer Bohnet is a successful author and member of the Society of Authors and the Romantic Novelists’ Association. Originally from the UK, she has been living in France for over sixteen years, the past five of which have been in a small cottage in central Brittany with a variety of animals for company.
Bohnet has contributed numerous short stories and serials to UK women's magazines, including The People's Friend, Candis, My Weekly, Best, and Yours. Her work has also been published in Australia, Sweden, South Africa, and Ireland. In addition to her short stories, she has written magazine features for national publications such as The Sunday Times, The Sunday Telegraph, Daily Mail, Daily Telegraph, Home and Country, and Devon Life. Bohnet also had her own newspaper column in the South Hams Group of Newspapers, where she shared her witty observations on family life.
Bohnet is the author of sixteen novels, including the international bestsellers "Villa of Sun and Secrets" and "A Riviera Retreat." Her stories often span the generations, featuring characters of varying ages who must confront unexpected challenges in their lives. However, Bohnet always ensures that her stories have a hopeful ending, even if there are tears along the way. Living in France for over twenty years, she has embraced the French way of life, including long lunches with friends and wine.
